I cannot say enough good things about Steve. As a fourth year vet student, I am constantly slammed in clinics caring for other people's furry loved ones which inevitably means that my own little Nora is left home alone. Steve goes above and beyond in her care - notifying me if she notices changes in Nora's behavior or health as well as being attentive to anything he notices amiss in the house while we're away. With all the stress of caring for very sick patients and preparing for boards, I am tremendously grateful to Steve for his warm professionalism and the compassionate care he gives Nora.

My boyfriend and I hired Steve due to long work hours during the summer. He came over for the initial meet and we all immediately took to his kind, loving and professional nature. I can tell that he wasn't walking dogs for the money, but because it is something that he truly loves. He started out the next day and I was surprised with the amount of updates and photos I got. I felt as if I was being spoiled. He has continued to give top notch service, he is always on time , he is there for last minute walks and most importantly, I don't have to worry about my home and dog being unsafe. We couldn't have asked for any more. We will continue to use Steve in the future, especially for dog sits. I'm extremely  over protective with my dog and don't even trust family to look after her, but I know that with Steve she will be safe and Happy.   Wish I can give him 100 stars!

Steve is exactly what we were looking for! He is very kind, friendly, and trustworthy and LOVES dogs! From our meet n' greet with him through our first weeks of walks, he goes above and beyond. He updates me daily, sends pictures through the app, and updates me on different behaviors/consistencies with my dog, Meyran!  We just booked him for another week and will continue to do so.

I never worry about Rambo when Steven is looking after him. Always on time and is very flexible with last minute schedule changes. Scheduling is easily edited through petcloud and I love the pictures and daily report we receive. My husband and I are so happy we found Steven, and I'm sure Rambo is too!

Steve is awesome! My husband and I moved to New Jersey about 2 years ago and have been in search of a pet sitter we can trust. I found Steve at Canine Trekker through craigslist and couldn't be happier with his service. Very responsive and flexible with my ever changing work schedule. My spaniel Abby loves him and their walks together. And I absolutely love the app he uses. My partner and I recently adopted a dog.  Prior to picking her up we did research on dog walkers in Jersey City, NJ.  Granted there are a lot of dog walkers in Jersey City, none that I was finding were around the Bayonne border.  I came across Canine Trekker via google and Facebook, so I reached out.  We were lucky to find out that Steven lived near by and accepting new clients.  After meeting Steven and learning more about the company, it was a no brainer that we hit the jackpot!  Canine Trekker uses a great app that alerts us on when the appointment begins & ends, allows us to see photos that they take, shows us a GPS map route of where they have been for the day, as well as a detailed synopsis of the walk.  Canine Trekker is honestly a god send for the full time working class family.  Highly recommended!
